Color of Worship 2009

Talia’s recollections:

It was an amazing day and a heart stirring performance. I had never performed with a choir singing Let All Associate before (we hadn’t even time to practice with them), so when the chorale started singing along, I was like, “Wow!”–and in such a beautiful and sacred spot and on such a blessed occasion. It was almost too much to handle! I held it together for that performance, but at our next performance that day at a wedding I was overcome with emotion and pretty much cried through the whole song.

Talia’s and the Chorale’s color coordination was a divinely planned “coincidence” that made us smile. Ha! :D

The video below, by Jack Gordon, “documents a tour of sites visited by ‘Abdu’l-Baha, son of the Prophet-Founder of the Baha’i Faith Baha’u'llah, during his historic visit to Washington D.C. in 1912. The tour ends with the annual Color of Worship celebration at Howard University.” You will hear and see the Let All Associate performance starting at 13:04. What an honor!
